What does Carpoolable do?
We connect people going the same way, and help Members share information to coordinate carpools to share costs.
Then we leave the details to you.
If we're useful and save you money, every so often you can drop us a tip (that's our "business model").
What about Safety?
Every Member must provide:
Selfie + selfie of car & plate.
Auto-Redacted pic of an ID.
Name, Email, & Cell #.
A small bio.
You decide what to share, and when. You decide who to trust, via text, email, and/or call.
Carpoolable is great for:
Saving money.
(Split the travel costs between travelers!)
Saving energy & emissions.
(Fewer single-driver cars!)
Starting the shift.
(To a sustainable economy!)
But it's not for everyone.
Not for the last minute.
(Not helpful for drivers OR passengers.)
Not for the super-shy.
(Though you can plan a "quiet drive.")
Not for the car-less.
(No home pickup: you meet somewhere and leave the car.)
